Dave Roever and team minister in area-wide, evangelistic crusades, designed to impact both youth and adults - the entire family. This is the most effective mode of ministry to touch the entire community. Crusades are sponsored by a wide representation of the evangelical, Christian churches in the community. Having worked with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association for many years, Roever evangelistic crusades reflect the spirit of the sound Graham ministry.

Crusades are usually scheduled to begin on Mondays, occurring for a total of 1-3 days, depending on the target number of public high schools, and other community factors

Evangelistic crusades consist of Dave Roever doing 2 major speaking presentations per day, such as a public high school assembly and an evening evangelistic rally in a public auditorium. He also speaks on military installations. Each day of a crusade can be planned as 2 high school assemblies or military presentations per day (and no evening rally); or 1 assembly or military presentation in the day and 1 evening evangelistic rally; or any combination of this structure. Arrangements can be made for simultaneous additional assemblies by other speakers, including triumphant wounded warriors from the war on terror.

In the public high school assemblies, Dave shares his life story, effectively relating it to issues confronting today' s youth, in a presentation appropriate for public schools, not a church presentation. Because Dave has always respected the parameters of the public school venue, his work there continues.

In the evening evangelistic rallies, Dave Roever' s crusade soloist does the special music, while the crusade committee plans musicians for brief congregational singing that is outreach oriented. If there are multiple evenings of evangelistic rallies, each night has a theme such as: youth, family, or patriotic/military. Dave Roever will share his classic testimony on one of the evenings, and preach as God leads on the others. If it is a 1-day crusade, in the evening rally, he will do a combination of his classic testimony and a presentation of the Gospel. The evening rallies conclude with an invitation for people to be born again. Dave Roever leads those who respond in a prayer to receive Jesus Christ as Savior, assisted by prayer counselors from the sponsoring churches. The participating churches then follow-up the converts for discipleship.

You may download our crusade workbook and application form. For your area, it may be most workable exactly as outlined, or adaptations to the composition of the steering committee may be appropriate, such as combining some committees for areas with smaller populations.

Please return the Crusade Application when you have determined that there is genuine interest and commitment from a wide representation of churches and Christian leaders, including senior pastors and youth pastors, to support a crusade in prayer, man power and finances. To schedule dates for your community, our crusade coordinator will work with the Scheduling Director to confirm dates mutually beneficial for your community and Dave Roever' s schedule.
