Chaplaincy Support

Military CDs

"The Real Deal" CD is a special version of Dave Roever's amazing story of tragedy to triumph produced specifically for the military. It is not available to the public in general. Tens of thousands have been donated to military members around the world, including the war zones.  A military commander or chaplain may contact us at info@daveroever.org to request sufficient quantities to meet the needs of his/her personnel.  Requests will be met as donor support continues.

Personal Speaking Engagements

Dave Roever, a superb communicator, speaks with gripping impact at national prayer breakfasts, pre-deployment events, reintegration training, wounded warrior and marriage retreats, as well as significant on-post  worship services.  He travels world-wide to do so, donning battle rattle when necessary in war zones.  His messages and effective, tri-angular model of faith, family and friends, hit the target. Commanders and troops alike readily receive wisdom, strength and renewed inspiration for their mission.

Since September 11, 2001 alone, Dave has spoken at the following:

Army: Academies such as the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York; and the Sergeant's Major Academy at Ft. Bliss, Texas. Stateside installations such as Fort Bliss; Fort Benning; Fort Gordon, Fort Leonard Wood, Fort Irwin, Fort Huachuca, Fort Dix, Fort Eustace, Fort McNair, Fort Carson, etc.  On other continents: NATO, SHAPE, and Army posts in Germany, Italy and Kosovo, including students in DoDDS schools; Korea; and troops all over Iraq.

Air Force: Academies such as the Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado; and the Defense Language Institute, San Antonio, Texas.  Air Intelligence Agency, San Antonio, Texas. Bases such as Langley AFB, Good Fellow AFB, Elmendorf AFB, Minot AFB, Ellsworth AFB; Randolph AFB and Lackland AFB.  On other continents: Lakenheath Air Base, England. Motivational and pre-holiday tours in the U.S., Pacific Forces in Japan, Korea, Okinawa, and in the Middle East: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, UAE, Afghanistan and Iraq.

Navy: The U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland; Naval Amphibious Base on Coronado Island near San Diego, where he had trained some 30 years earlier, to Special Boat Teams (similar to the PBR unit with which he had served in Vietnam); Naval Weapons Station, Charleston, South Carolina;  Naval Medical Center, San Diego.
